Dear Grade 2/3 families, You are invited to join the Grade 2/3’s in their Celebration of Learning! When: Thursday, November 21st Time: 4:30-6:00pm Where: Gathering Area of Bridlewood School This is an open house event. Feel free to come anytime between 4:30 - 6:00. Over the last few months students have been exploring and reflecting on the quality of life and what makes Bridlewood a great community to live in! Please come with your child to celebrate and explore the quality of life in Bridlewood. Students are looking forward to sharing their learning with you. We hope to see you all there!

The Remembrance Day Assembly will be held on Friday at 10:45. There is no school on Monday,  November 11th.

We are heading to the Arts Commons next week. A BIG thank you to all the volunteers for your gift of time! Please send your child with a water bottle and a healthy lunch/snacks. We will be spending part of our day outdoors exploring public art downtown. It is important that your child dresses for the weather and wears comfortable shoes. Special lunch is on Thursday. Unfortunately we will not be at school on Thursday to receive your child's lunch. They will be put in the fridge and given to your child at the end of the day. If you ordered a special lunch it is important that you still pack your child a lunch/snacks that day. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me.

We will be going for a community walk on Wednesday afternoon. Please dress for the weather!

Your child is bringing home their field trip form for our week long field trip to the Arts Commons. The fee can be paid online.  Please send back the field trip form and the media release form as soon as possible. When filling out the form please ensure you write all the dates (Oct 21-25). I added a yellow sticky note to the section where this needs to be done. Thanks for your support! Orange Shirt day is Tuesday, October 1. Wear orange if you can. If not wear red, pink or a Bridlewood School t-shirt.

Hi Parents, We are in desperate need of volunteers for 2 events in the next 2 months. 1) Scientist in schools - This in an in-school activity. We need at least 3 volunteers - September 24th (afternoon only 12:40-3:10) 2) Arts Commons - October 21-25 - We need volunteers 5 each day.
